The Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism is a globally focused research centre at the University of Oxford. Each year they publish their Digital News Report, the world’s largest international comparative study tracking online news access and engagement over a range of 36 countries.
In the early summer of 2017, Edelman asked me to design and artwork the complete 136-page Digital News Report with the support of their Head of Design, Christian Arvidsson. The challenge was to present what is a fairly data-heavy publication in a clean and engaging way, making the work as approachable as possible.
